Metropolis
The METROPOLIS collection , made of six different types of glass , runs through almost
one century of architecture with its acid engraved drawings on plate. Among the
proposed projects we find those dating back to 1914 and portraying the future metropolis
by the architects Antonio Sant' Elia and Mario Chiattone , two of the highest
representatives of Futurism who laid the foundations for modern architecture. Some
projects for bathing establishments dating back to the Sixties and plans of some circular
skyscrapers of the Eighties to reach our days with projects for hangars , airports and
space bases. All these projects have been used to realise this special glass collection.
Thanks to the refined acid treatment tecnique the so obtained glasses are ideal for interior
decoration requiring aesthetic result , light filtering and image screening.
